33Visual’s participation in the Pure Silver Initiative centers on its role as an observer and documenter for Fresnillo PLC, with a particular focus on the initiative’s goal of bringing drinkable water to communities facing water scarcity. Fresnillo plc, a major precious metals mining company, participates in the Pure Silver Initiative to address critical water issues in vulnerable regions, utilizing innovative solutions and sustainable practices.
Challenge:
33Visual’s challenge was navigating remote areas, capturing high-quality visuals in tough conditions, and telling a compelling story of clean water transforming lives, all while maintaining cultural sensitivity and meeting tight deadlines.
Process:
Over the course of five years, 33Visual undertook an extensive project to document the Pure Silver Initiative. Their team visited more than seven remote communities across five different states in Mexico. Throughout this period, they produced thousands of images and created over 15 videos, each telling unique stories of the communities and the transformative impact of the project. By capturing the essence of life in these areas and showcasing the benefits of clean water access, 33Visual provided a comprehensive and compelling visual narrative of the initiative’s success.
